This week, darkness rules. It comes by its silent force naturally as Pluto, symbolic energy of death, re-birth, and sex comes to a standstill on Thursday, AND we enter the unconscious shifts of a New Moon birth Saturday. This lunar cycle begins in the closing degrees of Aires, asking we grow as unique individuals, and learn to lead with love. Another aspect of the symbolic growth for this New Moon is the Sabian information from its degree which says, “The music of the spheres: Attunement to the cosmic order.” In order to be in sync to a new realm of experience, we need to listen to our intuition to satisfy both personal and spiritual needs.
Much of the recent planetary energies that have been frazzling nerve ends are also freeing us from the known, the old paths of least resistance. It’s exciting, but scary. Alternative viewpoints can liberate tired conceptions of small-mindedness, but expanded consciousness requires time, attention, and courage. The cosmos may push, but it also provides help to move us outside the box, and anchor the soul to its particular genius.
Pluto in Capricorn, retrograde until Nov. 19, offers time and space to ‘take out the trash.’ If you ever considered some form of therapy, journaling or/or deepening your Practice to include meditation, the Universe supports you. We are all to dismantle old forms, and discard emotional patterns that bind us to the past. This New Moon in Aires is a wonderful kick in the butt to begin a powerful inner journey that creates, and encourages a new you. This YOU begins deep within and may not show itself until later in the year, but the transformation, should you engage, will be profound, and sorely needed for the coming times.
As you stand the mat, consider the New Moon seeds you are planting this cycle. Include seeds of personal wisdom that you envision from the matrix of energetic love from your third eye. With the Moon in Aires, ruled by Mars in Taurus, it’s important to create sustainable dreams of value. Make mat-time an offering of practical support for the body’s needs. Taurus energy wants to be useful, to serve the physical to become a spiritual vessel so that physical/emotional/spiritual manifestation supports inner rebirth.
