Infected Illusions Nov. 23-Dec. 1

“Love is the hardest habit to break, and the most difficult to satisfy.”    Drew Barrymore

All we wish for this week is to feel gratitude, to be surrounded by loved ones, and over-eat. We may get some of that in spades as a Full Moon in abundant, over the top Sagittarius-Gemini polarity releases its uber-light Wednesday ~Thursday. Because the Moon squares Neptune, it elevates not only Neptune’s illusion and spirit, but pulls in its square to Saturn.  (last week-dailybreathjournal.com) Returning to old rituals makes us aware of meaning, and what either binds us to those rituals, or frees us from them. A symbolic Saturn/Neptune face-off,  opening us to different versions of reality.

Neptunian seas are very high this week. That includes fear and fanaticism as well as creativity and higher realms of love. We feel more porous, which is lovely if you are letting light in, not so easy if you feel at the mercy of invaders. With Full Moons, we are always more emotional. If wounded, we bleed more, which can be read as a symbol of emotional amperage. Give crazy family and friends space and acceptance, knowing they are just as porous as you.

The Sun, just entering Sagittarius, releases Scorpio’s somber shades, offering more vibrant juice to philosophical idealism. As Full Moons go, this one creates more even restlessness and emotion, along with unrealistic Sagittarian expectations. The ‘more is more’ conundrum of muchness is much in existence. If it’s good muchness, we relish and accept. If it’s difficult muchness, such as extreme ideologies, we shrink and back away. Our healing work at this time may be to hold center, “to walk the line,” as Johnny Cash sang. It is to not react, not seek vengeance, not pull in with fear.

In honor of this Thanksgiving, may we all stand as witness to what is, and let our light expand to accept what is un-lovable, what is despicable, and lest we forget~what we have created from fear, through lack of love and acceptance.

Practice this week: Using Neptune & Saturn to advantage

Be alive and aware to the rituals you choose, and those you wish to drop.

Bring consciousness to the forms and habits you use/Saturn~ like the shape of your Asanas~then observe how you inhabit them/Neptune.

Are you asking~’Where is my spirit? Where is joy? Why am I not happy now?’

Listen to where faith is being tested, and how you inhabit reality.

Have inner peace and compassion balanced daily chaos and disconnection?
