The Scorpio Full Moon on Sunday, 29th, pulls the week into her vortex of power and passion. Be sure you are clear about where you’re being drawn, and with whom. The co-rulers of Scorpio, Mars and Pluto, are side by side in an intense tango of ‘yikes’, in Capricorn. Think CEO of the galaxy up against the inter-planetary Boa Constrictor. They are a fighting force to be reckoned with, so make sure you are fighting the battles that are really important, and let the rest go. The world is bunching and clenching muscles of determination, commitment, and domination. Choose wisely.
If you have a goal that’s eluded you, commit to it now. Be relentless and brave of heart. Consolidate recourses and free-dive into the compelling call of what fascinates. Both the Scorpio Full Moon, and Mars/Pluto playing together, push us inexorably deeper into another transformative year. One of the reasons your body is tired is that it feels the unconscious engagement of a major purge in order to shift. What lies decayed must be swept out to sea. What has undermined our ability to hold power correctly, will be subsumed in the outrage of bullies in power. We learn by positive means, and, or negative.
Wednesday, 25th has a Mercury/Saturn square which adds fuel to frustrations already in bloom. A possible positive influence is that it slows us down. We have to reconsider how to re-structure ideas, and how they are communicated. Feel yourself guided when responding, rather than reacting out of hand. This may help keep you from the worst of the Mars/Pluto force-field of fury. The Mercury/Saturn relationship is in their third unfolding square, which may finally bring a better idea to the surface. Either that, or we toss it out the window. Adíos!
Prepare for Sunday’s sturm und drang and drama with momentary time outs. Check in with those you love to see if misunderstanding has been brewing. Emotions are high and getting higher, so do your best to align, listen, and allow which soothes the mood. Wish upon a star to make choices. Not a time to go with the ho hum mundane. Pull down starlight, if not stardust, to expand your visions and hopes. Expect to have important “ahaaa moments” under the light of this Full Moon. Also, expect to see shadow material. Time to heal.
(*sturm und drang meaning stressed emotions and turbulence, is a term connected to Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and the late 18th century artistic movement of emotional unrest that rejected neoclassical constraints and balance.)
YOUR BIRTHDAY WEEK: I’m a Taurus. I hate change. It happens all the time. I still hate it. We are fixed creatures. We like our habits and well worn slippers. But this year, fellow-Venus ruled, we are in for the different, the bold, the risky. With Uranus, the god of upheaval, and sudden shifts, entering Taurus for a seven year stint, we shall never be the same. Perhaps that is a good thing? It surely ain’t a comfortable thing!! Fasten your seat belt. Step up to the challenges to risk more, and ask the angelic guides for protection as the roller coaster begins to pick up speed. Glad your hand is in mine.
ON THE MAT: We shall do and be all things Yang to work out frustration and anger before they work us over. Expect muscle and sinew to grown and grow in support of spirit. For where goes the body, there follows emotion, then the mind, and finally spirit…who got the body there in the first place; like the ouroboros, symbolic snake or dragon swallowing its tail , depicting infinity or wholeness.
