Warriors For The World ~ Dec. 7-14

This week’s journey moves us into a New Moon in Sagittarius on Fri. 12/11. ‘Sag’ seeks meaning, purpose, truth, and expanded perspectives. The energies encoded in this New Moon expose us all to new awareness, and ask that we reconsider our ideas of destiny, and relationship with the world. It is a big picture window shedding light on our assumptions, and unconsciousness.

We have energy patterns that can be aggressive and volatile, at the very least restless and impatient. Take extra time to be careful, especially with knives and machinery. Drive defensively, with greater awareness. Don’t overreact, especially Thursday, when volatility is greatest. The positive side of the destructive energy is it gives power to let go bad habits, and leave toxic situations. We can think outside the box, and even better~ move outside the box. We want to be free. We are claiming desires to be a unique individuals, at the same time we see we are part of a cosmic whole. The Sag New Moon beckons us onward as warriors for the world.

Venus and Neptune supporting one another assist hearts to remain open while the world shoots from the hip. Neptune takes what Venus loves personally and expands that capacity into spiritual love, or universal love and understanding. The transformative weeks of November when we swam in Scorpionic waters, helps us regenerate a deeper life. We may see that challenges between independence and relationship; objectivity and subjectivity are more grounded in reality.

Practice this week:

Be physically active, using the combustive energies through positive outlets. Find ways to enlarge viewpoints, expand vision. Go upside down. Any upside down will do. A couch potato can simply move their legs onto the back of the couch and hang your head off the seat. The next easiest is to stand and hang over/Padahastasana. Those of more active persuasion, move into Adho Mukha Svanasana/Down Dog. Upping the level, spend time in Salamba Sarvangasana/Shoulder Stand, or Salamba Sirsana/Headstand. Take the next level with Adho Mukha Vrksasana/ Hand stand, Pincha Mayurasana/Feathered Peacock, and then Vrschikasana/Scorpion. There are many more inversions such as Urdhva Dhanurasana/Wheel Pose, but you get the idea, and you can find them all at: dailybreathjournal.com/Yoga Poses/Inversions

You will be happy to hear I’m expanding my POV and my Practice from an invitation to teach and perform at the Yoga Congreso Mediteráneo~  http://tu-mismo.es/acontecimientos/yoga-en-el-mediterraneo
