Shakti Yoga Dances link Asanas to joyous expression. Choreographed to wonderful music, they connect movement & breath to the heart of the emotional body. This Valentine weekend- become the bliss & love you desire. Let Asanas be your transformational conduit of expression.  The best part? No dance experience necessary, no musicality, nothing beyond a year of Practice, and the willingness to explore what Yoga can be.    “Come join the dance,” as the walrus sang…. beckon your muse to the mat.

Intention: SHAKTI YOGA DANCES can be physical means to powerful inner experiences, taking Yoga technique deeper into Yoga-life. Within their many layers are seasonal Ayurvedic, and Astrologic energies, sacred poetry, chant, mudra, and Pranayama. These connections create a rich and lively spirit-tapestry from which to move, and grow Grace.

MINDFULNESS MANDALAS

Nurturing Layers of the Creative Body:  Co-taught with D’Ann Hansen
Sunday, March 4, 1-4 pm
Laughing Dog Yoga. 159 Linden St. Wellesley
A Spa time-out for nurturing body/mind & muse.  Stay tuned.

For those interested in nurturing self through Yoga and the creative process. These three hours are about discovering physical & emotional imbalances that prevent the ‘genius voice.’  This voice is a unique expression, belonging only to you, and if you do not use it, it will be lost. The practical tools of Yoga, Ayurveda, Astrology, Mudra, Pranayama, & chant are incorporated into experiential exercises to calm and nurture subtle creative layers.

*What dreams are you afraid to dream?

*When stuck, what small steps/ rituals can be learned to call the muse, take next step?

*How and where can we create space to envision differently, more profoundly?

*Who blocks, & destroys the ability to be artistically fulfilled?

*Learn to trust you are a unique artist, a change-agent for yourself, for the world.
