Winter compels, demanding obedience.

On your mark get set-GO! Be a fool, grab your saddle, kick spring into full gear as the Full Moon rises April 1 for the month’s great unveiling. She favors partnerships willing to grow through difficulty. She stands behind the bold, the participatory, the initiators, willing to become spiritual warriors. With Venus ruling the Moon in Libra, and Mars the Sun in Aires, we have instant feminine/masculine partnering that seek harmony while dealing with power; control while seeking truth; And reveal within old patterns ready for release. All Full Moons are oppositions requiring integration, and this one is clear about funding a better strategy between personal masculine/feminine as well as the world’s. With America dominated by toxic masculine leadership perhaps it is time to test waters of feminine power? What does that look like? How might you help create it?
Illuminating issues of liaisons and alliances we question equality, intimacy, independence, balance, and fear. We are not only in relationship to Self, one another, AND our world, but our job, the ecosystem, and government. With Venus, now in her power in the sign of Taurus you can feel your emotional body seek earthy grounding in beauty, and financial stability. A Venus -Taurus Moon understands value in discerning self-worth. This becomes ever more prominent as the old world disintegrates. In coming days, the focus is on what disconnects us from self, and/or one another. As Venus ruled Libra is the signature of the scales of relationship. It’s an opportune time to recalibrate giving and receiving- especially to Self. Question: Where am I too submissive? Too controlling? Too careless? Too zealous? Too much of a caretaker?
Whenever the Sun is in hot and fiery Aires, ruled by Mars, the warrior, we are picking up the pace, making our intention and planning ever more important. When Mars himself enters Aires on the 9th, watch Chicken Little run! Not only is Mars a very busy boy but Uranus, the great Promethean God of higher mind, is activated all month which always signals shifts, changes, and action, often with confusion. The Uranian big news is that on the 25th he begins his seven year stay in Gemini, signature of the ‘lower mind,’ not lesser. His last cycle through Gemini was in the 1940’s when TV, jet engines, and rockets were developed. Prepare to be more ingenious to deal with the highly innovative tech, AI, and layers of communication we must learn to travel unknown roads ahead. Pause the engines now to visualize how you might discern and deal with a faster, more demanding day.
After April 20th, Venus moves to embrace Uranus in the closing degrees of Taurus. We will see this revealed in sudden relationship changes, partnerships that may be reaching a tipping point, and/or greater desires for freedom, be it from partners, a job, an old practice or habit. There will also be personal and political financial changes. Don’t panic, but step back now and give your finances a going over, with a plan B in place. Uranus moves suddenly, often with confusion. A small NB here is that the Sun moves into Taurus on the 19th and on the 25th will square Pluto, God of the underworld and transformative powers. Expect power struggles, control issues, sudden endings, cathartic releases, and renewal. What needs to die to be re-born in greater beauty and dignity?
Pluto in Aquarius for the coming 19 years is one of, if not the primary ruler who has brought AI front and center. He is also the one driving the ‘Aquarian Age of the great sisterhood/brotherhood when our means of survival will be one another, not how much money we have. When Uranus moves into Gemini, a good part of the Uranian engine will be its trine to Pluto in Aquarius, another air sign of hugely creative, quixotic fuel. Their full connect does not happen until July, but we will feel inklings when Uranus moves to Gemini. Talk about speed!!
One last note that is not Astrologic, rather cosmic. We have been having very spicy ‘space weather’ off solar winds, sunspots, flares and ‘charged particles creating ‘geomagnetic storms affecting technology, and our consciousness. If you have been feeling disoriented, tired or wired then pause, drink water, check in with yourself. You’re not imagining things. The disorientation may help release, then reconfigure what’s important. it’s part of the rising speed and discomfort of this wild horse year. (Information from Astrologer, Stephanie Austin.)
