BEGIN THE BEGUINE~ Spring’s first New Moon.

We dance out of March madness into April’s magnetic magic, lifted on the point of an Arian spear at the New Moon on April Fool’s. The symbology within April’s first day offers spring-green growth, with opportunities to begin yet again, and write a new chapter in our book of life.  This last week of March is an invitation to consider what you wish to begin, to ask what seeds yearn planting, and what intentions demand development.  This Aires New Moon sets April’s agenda as a warrior, a go getter, and manifester.  It co-creates with the watery Pisces alignment of Jupiter and Neptune-perfecting on the 12th.   The cosmos is offering opportunity to bring dreams to life, to morph from physical to spiritual, and kick visions- like heat seeking missiles, into orbit.  April shall be the month of the ‘co-creators.’  Use Aires fire , blended with watery Pisces, and eventually earthy Taurus, to be heard and healed.

The New Moon aligns with Chiron, the Wounded Healer, offering the world a chance to utilize its wounds and struggles as portals of healing.  Chiron often shifts old, painful states of consciousness into higher awareness.  With its close ties to the New Moon’s threshold energies, we have not only the warrior’s drive to win, but the battle may be about healing the past before we can move on.  If we are listening, painful experiences teach us the best way forward to understand and build new life experience.  These damaged places of the psyche guide us to greater wisdom and empathy.  If you have considered beginning a meditation practice, a healing circle, or exploring unique qualities in your spirituality, then wait no longer!

With Chiron as a New Moon guide, and Jupiter and Neptune joining Piscean forces on the 12th, be aware that intuition, dreams, along with creative, sensitive imaginings are going to be connected to a higher vibration.  You will notice the pace picking up through another complex week of dealing with restriction, agitation, war, hubris and horror facing off: freedom, healing, courage, and spirit initiatives.  Before you take your first bold April-steps, consider options before launching:  Find the maintenance necessary to produce; The quiet required to mitigate the storms; The patience necessary to overcome distractions. 

Part of the New Moon’s map for April is working with old and new relationships.  This is brought to us through the joys of Venus and Saturn joined in Aquarius, plus Venus squares the nodes which often brings in past karmic relationships to heal and either re-new, or release.  Along with partnering and relationship, Venus requires we review finances.  Time to clean up old money issues, and design new procedures to balance the budget of ‘money-honey. ‘ It may be helpful to look back at old patterns that have brought debt or loss and make concerted efforts to heal and clarify.

This is a notably busy New Moon as the lights (Sun & Moon) conjunct not only Chiron, the healer, but Mercury, God of communication, transportation, and ideas.  With all this energy in Aires, the ‘ME-Warrior~ be aware of ‘forked tongue,’ salacious spreading of ideas,  or dissing economic protocols. Perhaps it shall help us rise to a higher wit and wisdom as Neptune has a sweet touch to the nodal axis?  Hard to say as Neptune brings confusion with her desires for peace and beauty.  This fiery Aires New Moon is very much a template to awaken the Spirit-Warrior within, speak the truth, acknowledge the other’s truth, heal old wounds, listen to dream-voices to take first steps forward, and give more time to the body’s wisdom in order to connect it to mind and emotion.

The New Moon, at 11 degrees Aires, falls under the fixed star DHENEB CETI, Astronomical designation, Eta Ceti~ whose Arabic and latin name means ‘tail of Cetus’, or the Sea Monster.  This is a mixed media Sea Monster of sorrow and fear blended with achievement, order and breakthroughs.  It may put you in line for rewards, catharsis, and pushing the limit.  You work deeply from heart and gut in order to understand. Strong emotions and passion must come into the thinking for meaning to grow.  Seeking coherence is a large part of the Sea Monster’s need as fragmentation is part of the problem and fear.  Dheneb Ceti hopes to hold you together to heal and express yourself vibrantly!

WCK is also partnering with restaurants inside of Ukraine to get hot meals to anyone in need.” Be inspired by what one person began!) Feel free to add on to class fee or just be pleased your fees are spirit-directed’ in supporting the Ukrainian people. 

BIRTHDAYS THIS WEEK:  A New Moon around a birthday always asks for a year of new life, and new goals.  It’s a great re-birth-begin as the warrior you’ve always dreamed of becoming.  It’s a time to heal and release the past, to honor friendships and partnerships and think about how you might improve your connections.  It will be a year of greater attention to your writing and communication skills.  Seek balance between giving order and listening to other’s requests.  Because the rational mind/Mercury is highlighted, be sure to balance it with needs of the body and emotion.  Now, go off and lead the parade!!
