Wisdom Body Notes June 26-July 10 by Samantha Cameron
I hope June has been a healing time for you. Personally, I have you been dealing with healing my eyes, friends in need, and realizing that old childhood wounds now offer greater strength and wisdom. The Cosmos promised June would be a healing month as Chiron, the Wounded Healer, entered Taurus offering a reveal and review of wounding and healing, especially dealing with the body, relationships, value, and stability, or lack thereof. Have you noticed that often another’s wounds uncover your needs, and information desired for your healing. This is especially true concerning relationships, especially the one with Self. As we bid June farewell, may it leave you with restorative gifts of comfort and updated understanding.
We enter July with big energy modifications demanding different perception. As we are all internally shifting at a much faster speed, we therefore have a greater need to remain aligned with what is most important. Some of this decided change of energy is declared July 29, under the ‘out of bounds’ Capricorn Full Moon filling the night sky with a demanding light for transformative upgrades. The Moon in earthy Capricorn asks we now do something worthwhile and take on more responsibility. (You know how happy your tender Moon is with that.) Capricorn, ruled by old man Saturn, tells us to seek leadership roles, and be a ‘big daddy’ for others. We are to step up to the plate, be accountable, and tune in to the reality of now. Capricorn, represented by the Mountain Goat, loves to climb high and lead the way. To do this well it is organized, methodical, and often quite fearless. May we all drink that Kool Aid!
Sip what soothes you to prepare greater order and structure now because Mercury is turning Retrograde under the Full Moon, and he’s turning backward in watery, emotional Cancer. Capricorn and Cancer are the ‘parental energies ‘ in every chart, just as the Full Moon face off tells us to: Do it right, be perfect, but the Sun, aligned with Mercury says, “I don’t feel like it. I’m confused.” And that’s only the beginning of July’s contrapuntal energies. We also have two T squares, which is a geometry of challenging face-offs, along with a grand trine flowing planetary energies together, to offer feelings of satisfaction and ease.
As you know, Mercury Rx is famous for its tech issues, misunderstandings, re-do’s and readjustments. (Just write ‘re’ in front of all your words.). Mercury, the mind, is not comfortable in emotional water signs, and ALL three of the Mercury Retrogrades this year are in water signs, asking we pay more attention to the intuitive body, the emotional debris of the past, and take responsibility for healing old emotional wounding. If you know your chart and know where Cancer is, then you have greater information as to what area will take the focus of this Rx. (If you would like help with this, let me know-samcatcam@gmail.com). Retrograde periods begin to impact us around 10 days before the opening salvo and 10-15 days after they end, making this weekend a very important time to organize, back up, and prepare for Monday’s Rx Station.
Preparation for a planet going retrograde can teach us far more that the angst of life becoming difficult. The inner journey of any planet moving backward can be incredibly healing and wisdom-building, especially if you consider plans for discovery, and set aside quiet time to do so. The ‘ retrograde job’ is to offer information from what has lain unseen and dormant, waiting for reveal. So often transformative issues and old emotion that upset the apple cart, wait for a Rx time. With this Mercury Station under Capricorn’s full light, you may feel more grounded and balanced to do your reflecting and reloading. Mercury remains Rx until July 23.
On June 30, Jupiter leaves Cancer, where he has been happily generous, to enter fiery Leo, a sign he’s not thrilled with, and therefore will not performeth as well. But this move places him in a flowing trine with Neptune and a sextile of opportunity with Uranus. Get creative! Open up your queenly/kingly dreams of spiritual empowerment, reach out to friends, make time for laughter.
The big ‘Yikes’ takes place on the 4th when Mars and Uranus embrace! Mars, the warrior, meeting the Promethean brain of Uranus can be chaotic, overwhelming, and/or exciting. Together they promise to overwhelm the nervous system, never mind any fragmented political system. Their duet creates tipping points personally and collectively. With this occurring so close to the heightened emotions within a Full Moon, prepare now to grow grounded, and more aware. Accidents often occur as we are moving too fast and precariously. Sudden shifts and turning points need a wise mind to prevail. Let the Rx slow you down to reconsider any big moves, especially agitated emotional ones.
Using the healing themes from June, turn toward the vibrant, complexities and challenges waiting within July. Feel your consciousness expand to take advantage of the sis boom bah of July, especially as society is in an evolutionary/ revolutionary process. CANCER BIRTHDAY~Between the quiet healing and the sis boom bah taking place in Cancer, know you are apt to be confused, and feel the need of a new compass. Use the Mercury Rx to review, and anchor you. Above all, listen closely to your intuition as a source of what is right for you. Engage in daily practices that re-align you with your emotional body and intelligence. Big planets therefore big issues are in store this birthday year.
