Let someone hug you before moving into the big shifts and clearing out of Wednesday’s Super Blood Moon Eclipse….nevermind the added confusion of the upcoming Mercury ‘walk about’ as it Retrogrades on the 29, in Gemini, a sign it rules!. Both these events, plus the Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius are all about the la la land of mental-masterbation, We are being called to understand, think, and visualize through cracks of greater light. As Eclipses are karmic nature, we are to see the ‘big picture,’ and the power of our beliefs. The Eclipsed ‘Super Blood Moon is in Sagittarius, sign of the philosophical higher mind where we learn to trust, perceive higher intentions, and question authority. It’s a week to have our wits about us, and be willing to let some of that wit be blown to the wind.
Full Moons shed light on what has been in shadow, and a Lunar Eclipse in Gemini/Sagittarius provides a big spotlight on what ideas have been hidden, or repressed and have lain unresolved. As I wrote last week, it’s time to clear out and have a ‘come to Jesus’ moment on faith, the power of your mind, communication skills, learning and understanding. This includes your ‘Emotional Intelligence, as Super Moons always affect the emotional body. We are being asked to move beyond old mindfields. (The Sun stands beside the North Node in Gemini, and North Nodes beckon the world to a higher place where we discern the difference between opinion and truth, facts and ideas.) We are requested to be responsible to a higher calling, not only sifting fact from fiction, but information and communication need to be interpreted with compassion and empathy. (Mercury is holding hands with Venus, esoteric ruler of Gemini.) On May 31, the Sun conjuncts the North Node also supporting us to leave behind childhood patterns and cultural conditioning. With the Eclipse Moon at the South Node we shall see many emotional closures and endings which contain fragments of the past. The huge demand of this ‘Eclipse season’ is to release and let go by cleaning out mental closets.
Anyone with planets around 5 degrees of Sagittarius, and or Gemini will feel more affected, especially around issues of vision, truth, faith, judgment, intuition, and beliefs. Time to ask, “ What serves? What stands in my way?” Eclipses provide the world with windows of opportunity to see through the veil, to unearth decayed material, and move into a higher vibration. Yes it takes work! Yes, we often want to escape, but rather than run, take a walk. Let Ma Nature have her way with your old bleeding wounds. Take a nap to surrender deeply before moving forward. Find laughter with an old friend.

As to ‘moving forward’ not so fast, not so much. With Saturn newly on walk about in Aquarius, and Mercury poised to dive into its three weeks of ‘backward disclosures’ take time to ‘RE’. But before you ‘RE’ – back up! The technology, communication, and transportation during the first three weeks of June will offer many splendid moments to: re-assess, re-design, re-configure, re-think and come out the other end better than we were in May. Mercury Retrogrades, along with Eclipses bring light to what lay hidden. In our review weeks we are offered opportunity for different perspectives, and freedom from old beliefs that no longer work. Especially with Jupiter ruling the Eclipse Moon, expect a greater sense of freedom, and expansion. The planetary firmament is offering enormous gifts to move us into a higher plane, a better world where mind and heart operate as one, where we align with wisdom that unites. ‘Open them Perly-Gates and dance on in!’

The Lunar Eclipse is caused by the Moon’s passing into the earth’s shadow
The ruddy red coloration, or ‘Blood Moon’ is from the earth’s shadow, which darkens the moon but doesn’t totally obscure the Sun, leaving a bit of sunlight, both sunrise and sunset lighting the moon on Wed night.
The moon wobbles up and down, therefore you only get a red or Eclipse Lunar Eclipse rarely. It Last happened in 2018.
The special treat of both ia Super Moon AND a Blood Moon s very rare, only one or two times do they come together in a decade.
The Eclipse will be visible all across Australia, with the red-brown coloration unique to your location between 7:44 pm -10 pm.
