MOTHERS OF INVENTION

We are digging, moving, shifting, and changing the order of our Taurus Earth.  She is the Great Mother ~Gaia.  From her comes our first nurturing, our primary lessons.  The human mother has learned and listened to her instructions from ancient time.  Once again, it’s time to hold ears to the ground and listen to her voice.  The upcoming Taurus New Moon, on the 11^th, is prime time to assess all manner of earthy, pragmatic, nurturing, body-centric, financial, relationship, and the oh so important bottom line of what do you need to do to believe in your self-worth?  What is going to add value to your life, and those you love?  That is a Taurus signature query.

We root in Taurus riches until April 20th, when the Sun moves into airy, chatty Gemini.  Until then, till your soil.  Take advantage of a Venus rulership, where the desire is not only to make everything more beautiful and sensuous but add value to all we do and be.  Taurus is not just financed.  She is associated with ‘riches’ such as a vibrant body, good friendships, a haven of home, the security needed to feel safe.  So much of what we knew as normal and safe has been taken from so many.  We are re-entering a new normal where we still desire the same old life ingredients, but how do we create them with fresh perspectives?  How do we use them from a different construct?  Use the inner reflective time around this New Moon to re-master higher intention. Consider using Mother’s Day as a jumping-off point when you either visit mom, think about mom, love or disdain mom.   SHE is the primordial earth we rooted in.  SHE accepted our soul’s request to enter an earthly life.  To HER we owe our first templates of existence.  from HER loins we learned to feel loved, or not, to do battle, or not, to enjoy or succor sorrow.  Make it a Mother’s Day New Moon celebration of renewal toward becoming your very own and very best original SELF.  We have help doing this as Uranus, God of higher thinking, liberation, and stimulator of change, along with chaos rides very close to this lunation.  Mind you, staid and safe Taurus is very uncomfortable with Uranus moving through her territory for seven years, but we are being poked to step up and move in unexpected directions with some urgency….especially in the area of women’s equality/all people’s equality, and all earth-centric issues of global change

Jupiter moves into heart-melting Pisces on 14^th where it stands beside the powerful fixed star, Fomalhaut, one of Persia’s royal stars known as a spiritual teacher. We grow ever more creative, spiritually inclined, lost, and confused.  Jupiter is very powerful in Pisces, being its ancient ruler before Neptune.  Tune in to the unseen, and decide to morph the mundane into magic. Grow more colorfully light-bodied. 

Saturn goes Retrograde on 23^rd.  This Station is at 13 Aquarius and therefore squares Uranus.  These two power sources always square off at loggerheads, which the Retrograde will amplify. Remember, Saturn is Kronos, who cut off his father, Ouranus’, testicles.  We will all struggle with ‘do it differently.  No, stay the same.’  (Saturn moving through Aquarius can manifest as fear of the future, which we plainly see in the conservative far right.)  Patience is our only mistress. Kindness our only guide.

The 26^th  we enter ‘Eclipse Season’ with a total Super Moon-lunar Eclipse at 5 Sagittarius!! Grab your hat and hold on as it will bring things to a head!  Clean out your ‘Sag-closet’ which holds issues of: truth, the law, freedom, travel, philosophical and religious viewpoints.  Prepare for endings, especially as this Eclipse is close to the South Node, a signature of endings, closure, and the past.  (If you know your Sag-house, this will be your big territory of change.  Want to know where it is?  email samcatcam@gmail.com for a quick overview of your personal sis-boom-bah. $20 for a 20 minute- quickie.)

Mercury Retrograde on the 29.  Begin planning now as it takes place in Gemini, a sign it rules, so it is bound to have extra impact on all communications, technology, and transportation.  If you need new technology buy it now or wait until after June 22.

YOUR BIRTHDAY WEEK:  With the New Moon asking you to prepare a new start,  don’t leap -but plan!  You will practice patience as a year’s mantra, along with accepting a step-by-step dialogue with life.  Spend more quiet time if possible as your spiritual space wants greater recognition.  This will also lead to expanded creativity.  Listen to who you truly wish to be, and honor all your gifts, then share them abundantly.
