Wisdom Body Notes for December 1-12  by Samantha Cameron

What an optimistic, intense, healing, ethereal kaleidoscope of energies we share during the last month of this ‘ending year.’  The Full Moon on Dec. 4th, partnering Gemini and Sagittarius, promises mental stimulation and reveal of old ideas run amuck that may now be reviewed and fixed. I send you joyful wishes of fluid insight and surprising ahaaaa moments.  Perhaps your Thanksgiving gratitude opened unknown pockets of heart-revealing gifts you are ready to embrace? This lunation delivers possibility of higher consciousness and mysterious microdoses of courage.  What may challenge you will nourish you!

The first three chilly weeks of December remain under the echoes of the Scorpio New Moon of November 19th.  Remember that all New Moons hold energetic sway for 28 days after their birth. Scorpio with its rulers Pluto and Mars demand power, passion, expressive creativity, and transformation.

 Pay attention to your productivity and impact on others, the larger circles you influence. Jupiter, the great roly-poly god of higher mind rules the Sagittarius Full Moon Sun, AND he will rule the Sagittarius New Moon arriving December 19th which makes him an influencer all month.  Jupiter opens the mind to abundant light and joy.  Pluto opens the emotional body to dive below the surface. We have an oxymoron of light and dark, past and future, of feeling exposed or hiding out.  December asks we broaden the skyline, take our power to kick out old constraints and boundaries, especially those that are self-defeating. 

The other on-going influencer from last month is Mercury’s Station Direct, Nov. 29th. As Mercury, lord of lower mind, communication and learning shifts from inner listening to outer, he fuels the Full Moon as he rules the Gemini Moon. Be attentive to greater EI/ Emotional Intelligence.  He enters Sagittarius December 11th, beckoning a bigger creative voice and coherence, losing some of his Rx confusion and frustrations. Consider how your personal creativity fits within a broader vision and use the light of the Full Moon to be inspired!

Moving deeper into the month, there are many ‘cosmic players’ weaving circuitous routes that call for attention.  Prominent among them is the inner work of healing old shadow material before we leap onward.  The Wounded Healer, Chiron, is activated by the Full Moon, as is Mars, the warrior, and Eris- the feminine expression of Mars.  This month do take advantage of holding dialogues with isolated, painful parts of the psyche.  Pluto supports us integrating walled away fragmented broken pieces and transforming them into empathetic healing consciousness.  Call clarity into a soothing new rhythm.

After the sis boom bah Full Moon, Neptune stations direct December 10th.  His energies as the god of the seas, universal love, creative spirit and oneness of all will be fully amplified around this time as he pauses to stand still and change direction.  Notice how you are inspired in the coming days, how your connection to others, and desire for inner work shape feeling tones.  Give yourself the gift of quiet time and listen to your intuitive heart.  In some ways Neptune supports the efforts of Chiron in our need of soul healing and deeper consciousness.  But with Neptune, be aware of greater confusion, diffusion, and possible loss.  We may be foggy yet highly intuitive, which reads like an oxymoron to me, especially as he travels through the final 29 degrees of Pisces, adding to his complex spiritual, confusing, creative nature.  He is also preparing for his big mash up with Saturn in ’26, which will be one of the year’s GPS guiding energies.  More on this anon.

Another hot player this month is Mars, presently happy in fiery Sagittarius, but preparing for bigger power plays on the 16th, when he enters Capricorn where he is really happy, executing formidably.  Mars is in the sign of his exaltation here, offering a renewed drive into powerful growth, be it philosophical or physical.  Here, his desire is for committed action. (We shall see this on the political stage.). He is followed by the Sun on the 21’st, designating the Winter Solstice, then Venus on the 25th.  As each of these planets moves into earthy Capricorn, they square Neptune, and Saturn which may offer a greater sense of closure ~a structured faretheewell to 2025?  Do take time to journal and/or meditate as the reveal will support your dreams and desires for the incoming unknown.

Keep weaving your cloth of gold as I have yet another set of influencers requiring warp and woof:  Jupiter trines Saturn in closing degrees of Pisces through mid-December.  This may offer a greater ease to learning, elevating communication skills, broadening ambition, fan ease in being supported by others, and /or the opening of new pathways.  Saturn is a clarifier and boundary setter while Jupiter is the big dreamer of fresh perspectives and growth.  Together, they open possibility for sustainable growth, social investments, and wider visions. May these energies call us into the New Year!
