Dear Cosmic Friends, it has been an enormous time of challenges and change since last I wrote you. The madness of March has invited us to release the old and heal before moving on. It is insisting on new directions for many. Have you been surprised with unexpected creativity? Noticed the plethora of synchronistic moments? Felt your vision expand to greater landscapes? For the past weeks, I have been away, far away it appears, more than simply miles and languages. We journeyed to France and Spain to see dear friends and family, to teach, and be born again in unsuspecting ways. During that time, we grew present to each moment, and in doing so, the normal life we left did not exist. This was a first, and grew important for intuitive discovery of small mysteries, and healing that moved into the body.
If you have been conflated and confused, be happy as you are opening to a new way of thinking, a more magical mindset. Hope you have slowed down to enjoy some of this ‘enlightened perplexity. During months such as this when big outer planetary hits open the world into a new era, it is best to hit ‘pause’ and listen, for much of what is happening is taking place below the surface, far below the facts of what was an assumed reality. These past weeks have offered extraordinary gifts -that may be demanding and scary but as you unfurl your butterfly wings you will fly higher than before.
I shall gently walk you through primary energies we are swimming in to help simplify and organize a greater understanding to help you grapple with the why and wherefore of the journey we are upon. The opening page to any new journey is to make room for it by releasing the old tried and true. Never more so than now as healing our shadow wounds was a major part of the Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo/Pisces that took place 3/3. In an energetic line up, the week before, Mercury had turned Rx, turning inward and backward into Pisces, making his three week passage mirror much of what the Eclipse offered, as well as the forming conjunction of Saturn and Neptune: Re-think shadow material, let the mind move with mental mysticism, honor your visionary Self, see old patterns that prevented better outcomes, take time to re-organize from the depths discovering ways you can add extraordinary to your ordinary.
We each stand at unknown thresholds, personal and impersonal. We view a world that is back at war, with bullyboys in charge. What do you choose to do about this? Their wanton destruction has wasted no time in revealing greater truths, and larger realities. Allow the politics their due, but do not let them have power over you, then they win. This Self of soul in the waters of abyss is the only person who can save you, or another, and the old shadow-wounds have given you gifts of power and wisdom to not only ‘upgrade’ but partner the world with a true power. We depend on one another to heal, to join forces and rise up to a greater truth, a better reality.
The 3/3 Full Moon Eclipse offered healing AND an invitation to deepen our intuitive path as the Virgo/Pisces opposition intrinsically works with Virgo’s daily habits of health AND Pisces spirit tank of creativity. Our job is to discover ways we can integrate their energies, much like working with the oppositional energies of Saturn and Neptune meeting at 00 degrees of Aires to enforce new constructs, dissolve what doesn’t work and discover unseen potential. We are working with layers of reality, and the yearning that arises when we long for something or someone different but don’t know how to get there. This is not so much about resolving conflict and contradiction as it is about opening to a new essence within you. We are in a larvae stage becoming butterflies.
* WATERS OF THE ABYSS was a show by Fabiola Jean-Louis from Haiti shown at the Gardner Museum in 2025. She titled it “An Intersection of Spirit and Freedom, “creating beautiful goddesses and creatures from the kintsugi of the sea, the rocks and tiny shells, the broken glass that had been hidden away. Her artistry was sublime -especially of the female expression. Waters of the Abyss has permeated my vision ever since. The journey we just returned from was full of the magic and mystery of waters pouring through and over, up and around many events and place, turning me inward and backward to the visions and feelings of Fabiola’s art.
