Wisdom Body Notes for April 13-24 by Samantha Cameron
Are you feeling it? The shift, the heat, a rising demand to take sword in hand? If not, you soon will as none of us can ignore half the planetary firmament in the I AM fire of Aires. Since mid-February we have been navigating big, and uncomfortable planetary shifts into Aires. First Saturn moved in, asking for Aires ambitions to slow down and re-design life-structures. Neither energy is happy with the ask. This was immediately followed by Neptune leaving his watery Pisces home to dance through fire. Again, a conundrum of oppositional forces struggling with a collective friction seeking different consciousness.
As Aires is the first sign of the zodiac, it heralds: beginnings, the power of a desire to BE, with the internal anger and courage of Mars to execute. Added to this surging power drive has been the support of Pluto, HE of deep, unconscious demands to transform life. These unseen background energies of profound evolutionary shift were joined by Mars, ruler of Aires, entering his beloved home turf on the April tenth. Mercury adds to the heat and speed on the 16th. This places four of the total 10 planets in one sign forcing us to honor and obey HIS demand that we grow into more powerful warriors~ Be it spiritual or warlord. The fuel is here, and of course you see it clearly in the American political world, which offers a perfect mirror in how NOT to embody Aires!
The spring of ’26 builds internal tensions forcing us toward external re-build. We are being initiated into evolutionary transformation, and as uncomfortable as it may feel for many, we need anger as well as courage for a relentless determination to prevail. We are slowly laying new foundations by re-structuring the known to author the unknown. With Pluto in Aquarius, the power of ‘we the people,’ joining the individual drive of four planets in the raw personal power of Aires says there is no hope in sitting out this fight!
Ovid wrote “Fortune and love favor the brave.” The question, as always is how do you want life to be brave, to change, to evolve? How can you commit to a new direction and/or purpose? What are your Martian reform-desires? Do you have ‘boots on the ground’ to march through collective disruption to re-build a more strategic blueprint? Can you add to the power of the collective while transforming your personal purpose? Seek answers under the burgeoning energies of the Aires New Moon on Friday 17. This lunation is a magical rebirth, seeding the upcoming 28 days, as well as the months ahead. Make it a talisman of an undefeated soul at work.
The personal and collective are demanding to be reborn. To obey we must first surrender. It is hard to surrender to fire as it pushes for not only a hard determined march forward, but with alacrity and daring. Aires warriors are not in the habit of surrendering, but the upcoming New Moon is an opportune time to dismantle the worn and used to re-set intention, opening a vibrant, unexplored chapter. Be aware of existential angst, along with impatience, aggression and fears. It’s floating everywhere in this ignition point. Use your Yoga/ conscious breathing Practice/meditation / nature-walks/long soaks in the tub to come home to the quiet within. With Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, and the Wounded Healer, Chiron all in the inflammatory fire of Aires, our job is to create practices of peace, to balance and inform the intuitive body so that we might better use the power and momentum of this week’s flamboyant flame to self -direct our next chapter.
Despite the destructive horror of our world, step back to assess the reveal. The covers are being torn away, we are being shown the dark, hidden underbelly. What does that ignite in you? Are you inspired to fight or to hide? Are you giving the bad guys permission to run your emotional life? Aires is a very self-directed energy, making it easier to take responsibility for thoughts and actions. Make a spiritually conscious choice between enthusiasm and joy or fury and destruction. Do it now as much of this momentum will hit a wall on Sunday 19th, when Mars embraces Saturn and the audacious are held in check by stern structure. Open your strategy-brain to better engage this limiting, likely frustrating energy as a source of re-design, rather than surrendeer. Saturn gives commitment to the high voltage of Mars, and when integrated with wisdom these oppositional energies can offer success from the battle. It’s a time to “Touch the deep knowing within you.”
We are all upon a Hero’s journey. We are all invested in “I AM.” We are all light bodies in an earthly incarnation. We have opportunity now more than ever to feel and express that. New life is being born, how do you wish to incarnate?

This year is an important year to choose again, re-assert your wishes, re-evaluate your worth, and grow more powerful. Great! Go for it. But pay attention to boundaries that re-define these desires. With your birthday Sun squaring Jupiter, the great abundant god of “MORE” ~spend some time re-aligning/redefining your path. It’s a hot and sassy year of big change. Accept you are ready for this transformative process.
TAURUS BIRTHDAYS BEGIN SUNDAY 19th~ Dear quiet, grounded Bulls with balls O fire, the 19th will be a propitious moment for the Sun to shift gears and return to earth. Your Venus-led savvy shall be salve for burnt skin, the pleasure of simple gifts, and the hope of beauty will root new life. But like everyone else, you too shall be charging into the unknown realms of opportunity. Don’t gore the Matador on your way out of the ring!
