The bruised heart, when love comes late,
Is more gladdened than at twenty.
When not closed in despair
Tenderness, with wisdom smolders secretly

Once again upon silver streams
Of nerve and muscle tingling to be touched,
Soul pinioned as someone’s precious jewel.
 
This happy heart deserving of magick  
Steeped in lonely-wait flies free.
Ring out bells, peal joy’s tiding

Wisdom Body Notes for Oct. 16-30 by Samantha Cameron

As this is a Venus -filled week of partnering, self-acceptance, balance and yes-LOVE, let us seek it in odd places and be filled by joyful surprises.  Who do you want to sit beside to contemplate life? Who is the wonderful one who shows up to witness with you?  We need partners of every kind. We need a Venus Wake Up Call.  We are in retreat which makes reaching out more difficult.  We are covering over what we used to heal.  We are hunkering down when the world needs us rising up.  When was the last time you extended yourself beyond comfort to simply say, “Hello, I’m here.  Do you need anything?”  It seems most of us have made unconscious decisions not to do that.  Instead, we text, which tends to be impersonal, despite being full of heart emoji’s.  A heart emoji simply says, “I can’t be bothered to write anything to you, or call.”  It is a pink drum beat of withdrawal.

We have a magical, temporary, ‘celestial Fire and Air Kite’ in the heavens this week.  It is a rare and inspiring formation that supports courage and clarity, especially when connecting, and offers solace after despair and sorrow. We saw its energy playout through the hostage exchange and hoped for peace in Gaza. Nothing is permanent unless we choose to make it so.  Love doesn’t last forever unless we make it sacred and hold it strong within.  Any magic that fills our life is ours by effort and choice-filled work with memory.  Partners and friends that hold us as the ship is sinking are transformational gifts to be prized beyond measure.  Impermanence prevails alongside eternity.  The love we create is hard won and needs attention or is lost.  Our reality requires transformative work to prevail.  Our bodies and souls require constant rewiring to grow and thrive.  Despite wanting to hide and disappear, our light is needed, our creativity required, our love necessary for the spiritual sojourn of the new era we are entering.

We cannot be passive witnesses to the mess of humanity we created.  In the collapse of the old era and restructuring of the new, our names are called.  “Be here now! ” Ram Dass.   “Be an architect of your consciousness” Rob Brezsny.  Not only is the Sun in Libra, an air sign, we have other magical connective energy threads through the opening degrees of air signs. Air is the element of connection, ideas, communication, questioning.  Pluto, going direct at 1 degree Aquarius is a huge pushy player as he triunes Uranus Rx at 00 Gemini, to Neptune at 00 Aires, Saturn standing close by, and Venus at 1-2 Libra.  If you are not inspired to write the next great novel, write the best new song, choreography the most fabulous dance, then I surrender.  If you have been holding back on having a difficult ‘heart to heart,’ then now is a good time as you will have greater understanding and sympathy to make it work.  Added assistance comes from expansive Jupiter in Cancer, a watery signature of care, tenderness and intuitive grace, which is in a lovely triune to Mercury and Mars in watery Scorpio.  Time to dig down and express with dynamic-powered-love.

The multiple planets in the first degrees, plus the push of their harmonious connections, invite the world to “Take a chance on love,” communicate difficult issues with tenderness. We are being offered opportunity, drive, and creative powers.  Don’t let it pass you by. Contribute/not contract.  When Neptune-the higher form of unconditional love, and Venus-the intimate expression of love, connect in an air element-we take flight.  Where are you going on these beautifully loaded wings of desire?

Another potent moment for more Venus/Neptune liaison-work is the 21st ,at the New Moon in Libra, ruled by Venus.  She stands in a dynamic opposition with Neptune, asking for a reassessment in what has value, what we feel is our worth, and just how beautifully we can view ourselves.  Neptune Rx at 00 Aires- the first degree of the zodiac, soon moves back into Pisces, which he ‘owns,’ amplifying spirituality, peace, and transformative love.  The Sun, moving into the watery depths of Scorpio the day after the New Moon, demands we deepen our capacity to love, and grow more emotionally aware of self and other.  With its ruler, Pluto at the first degree of Aquarius, we are being urged to nurture the great sisterhood and brotherhood.  Reach out and say-no shout out- “I love you.”
