Wisdom Body Notes for Dec. 5-15 by Samantha Cameron

R.W Emerson would be pleased with the possibilities to deep dive this December!  As the closing month to a year, December is a ‘wind-up time’ offering insights, possibility of new intentions, and closure to what was.  We are under a flurry of heavenly energies -many turning in different directions which demand extra attention, depth perception, and healing considerations.  So much of what we perceive depends on our belief system.  How do we choose to see the world?  Do you believe it’s not to be trusted?  Or is it fruitful and accommodating?  Holding a mirror up to our mind sets reveals a reflected energy of attraction.  The big issue is always being conscious to our thought process. We had supportive help from the new Moon guiding December’s engine as she ‘gave birth’ in the higher mind and ethics of Sagittarius, asking “What is the truth?  What are the facts.  What is my intention in harnessing this energy?” A Sagittarius New Moon asks us to align with our higher purpose and remain centered with what matters most. This New Moon aligned with the fixed star, Antares that offers ‘the power of the heart.’  It is one of the royal stars of Persia, and in the West is linked with the Archangel Uriel- ‘She of divine wisdom.’

With Mercury remaining Retrograde until December 15, when it turns direct under the Full Moon in Gemini, which it rules!  You may find it easier to grow greater conscious awareness as Mercury- the ‘lower mind planet’ is travelling through Sagittarius- yet another request to ‘open those baby blues and see the wider world awaiting.’  While Mercury Retrograde is notorious for snafus in tech and communication, as well as transportation, the inner turning and slowing down of the planet on its retrograde passage opens doors for larger vision and intention, especially when traveling through Sagittarius.  At the end of any year this feels especially important.  Take time to dive into what lies hidden, what new adventure awaits, what relationships need repair, what failures need triage?  Remember, Sagittarius is ruled by big roly-poly Jupiter, with its enormous magnetic field, who symbolically expands everything it touches, nudging us to hold a higher possibility and trust our intuition.  Consider this an early ‘New Year’s Eve Resolution Gift’ and dive into ideas and possibilities for new goals. but wait until 2025 to execute, or at least until after the 15th.

We are not only re-thinking and re-envisioning ideas, we are working with relationships of all sizes, shapes and importance as Venus, goddess of love, self-worth and money is very busy connecting herself to various Cosmic partners.  Like Mercury Rx, offering an early ‘resolution gift,’ Venus is always prominent this time of year as holidays are about relationships; those we love, those we have lost, those we struggle with, and those we long for.  We remember and feel into a year of remarkable connections that affected, and possibly changed our life.  On Saturday, 12/7, Venus enters the friendship sign of Aquarius to sidle up to the potency of Pluto.  You can already feel their passion and compelling flames, perhaps even hot air- ahaaaa’s.   Observe how your relationship to Self has transformed -as well as to others, and/or your finances, and self -worth.  Colette wrote, “Be happy.  It’s one way of being wise.”With Venus embracing Pluto, it’s important to be passionately happy!

On busy Saturday the 7th into the 8th, along with Venus entering Aquarius and meeting up with Pluto, we have Neptune turning direct after five months of a retrograde swim-within in her own sign of Pisces.  Yes, it’s been a time of enormous confusion, and loss, but it has held highly creative and spirit-filled possibilities as well. The question now is; ‘what have I learned during these spiritually creative confusing months?  How may I now harness this energy, built from difficulty, deceit and pull back?  What muscle is stronger now from being frustrated and forlorn?

To confuse the emotional waters further, on December 6th, Mars stations Rx in Leo, where he ‘royally’ moves backward and inward until Feb. 23, 2025.  Indeed a long period to have our physical, passionate, warrior, assertive side be ‘underground.’  Mars is here to make sure we stand up for ourselves, we assert our will, deal with injustice, be sexy and assertive.  Where Leo resides in your chart is where you now must slow down and reconnect with what you are really passionate about.  Leo is about our creativity and love, expressive joy and children.  It is also about being the queen or king.~your agency.  While Rx in Leo, Mars supports living closer to the heart. Call Antares for support!  Mars is uncomfortable moving through watery Cancer, home of mom and deep emotions, where he often feels too vulnerable and protective then misbehaves.  He returns to those cancer feelings aligned with nurturing, mom and home where we need to reassess our relationship to these issues, asking are we ‘reacting’ or responding’?  Is this old family emotion needing attention?  Or fear related to a new effort?  Mars is in fiery Leo until Jan. 6, where he is better behaved.  But between Jan. 7-Feb. 23 -not so much.. Keep your eyes out for displaced anger poorly expressed, and/or old family issues needing release.

Clearly, this December offers a time of revelation, evolution, with plans of future revolution. Hold fast to those you love.  Be tender with those in need. Light each day with moments of joy.  I’ll meet you in the stars!
