Wisdom Body Notes April 26-May 5 by Samantha Cameron
Our new life, born in the Taurus New Moon, is filled with profound invisible powers. It is a threshold of new territory and a portal to the most intense period of cosmic energy changes in our history. We are entering a new era with the need to shape-shift and co-ordinate the unknown. The theme of quiet, invisible power is woven into various patterns through this Venus-ruled re-birth. Consider re-igniting a sense of inner potency through subtle lines of more time spent listening and being creative. Find contentment as the power behind the throne, and/or accept the challenge of inspiring others. There is a Gaelic term, ‘forosnai’ meaning ‘that which illuminates’ which could be your new mantra~ a reminder of who you truly are. As Taurus is the sign of nourishment and longevity, what we intend and create during this time will blossom through love, finances, relationships, physical well-being, and strong partnering.
During the days of Taurus, 4/19-5/19, your forosnai mantra easily pulls in the light as it is an ancient concept long associated with the Taurus Bull, Aldebaran, one of the brightest fixed stars, located, by Ptolemy, in the constellation named ‘the Torch.’ Aldebaran, along with the Pleiades, are often referred to as ‘the cradle of consciousness.’ AND, as you know Taurus is ruled by Venus, known as Lucifer-The Light Bearer- when she is the morning star, as she is now. Taurus is very much of the physical world, ruling the earth, the body, and the well-being of the heart so this spiritual light of greater consciousness must move up through body and earth in grounded, practical manifestations. Our awakening does not come without hunger, ambition, pain and release.
Yet another Taurus light body, embracing this New Moon, is the fixed star, Hamal,’ an elemental spirit that rises from its root to enflame the crown and open spirit. Think kundalini energy. Hamal’s awareness is ‘initiatory,’ rooting the spirit with confidence and higher consciousness. His fire seeks to bolden right use of will, to restore and clarify rising forces. If you know your chart, review any Taurus planets you have as they offer insight into dimensions of your Soul, and desires to free you from the material. A strong ignition to the power of this quiet New Moon is the Mars/Pluto square in a ‘push come to shove’ T-Square of volatility to this Taurus Lunation. Their energies provide a huge challenge and flames of tension -but they also lift us from the depressed sluggishness we have been swimming in. You can see anger rising in the world with more protests, particularly against those in power/Pluto. Hopefully the rising anger will teach us how to take better action and plant seeds of true power. (I remind you again of the wonderful book by David Hawkins, “Power VS Force.” A perfect read for now!) New Moon power is quiet, as is Taurus. Both invite us to stabilize, nurture and root down to come home to Self. These mellow energies are a needed balance to the wild and woolly forces infused within the T Square.
The light of Venus reminds us that light is born in the dark earth, within the quiet heart, and the peaceful grace of the wisdom body. In every rooting, especially during a Taurus New Moon rebirth, we are reminded to dig down into the true essence of the life we are crafting. With the four big outer planets changing signs, our world is opening to formative structural transformation. Accompanying the sign-shifts of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn are the four elements moving from water and earth of slow, dense, ponderous movement to the elevated speed of air, and the light, hot strike of fire. The key to infusing our lives with new growth and manifestation is to integrate the known into the unknown. Don’t allow the speed and fury of what is upon us upset your apple cart. Don’t give away your power to someone who has no idea of what true power is. Use your devotion for a conscious, steady reality, producing higher frequencies. Embody your flame with seeds of fire-inspired-intention. If you require greater courage? You need only reach out to an old friend or discover a new ally to fortify your heart to a greater cause.
