Wisdom Body Notes May 13-25 by Samantha Cameron
The coming and going of the moon weaves the sky dark to light and home again~a luminous ritual of reliance, information and beauty. As in all necessary and important ritual, we utterly and unconsciously depend on it. Our new rituals emerging from under the Taurus/Scorpio lunation fill us in silent, potent energies of passion, power, and embodiment. The placid Taurus Sun stands in bullish opposition to the moon’s penetrating scorpionic mystery; A ritual expression asking for daily practices to be imbued with greater intensity, an ‘ask’ demanding- “I want all of you present!” Life is calling us to stand forth in our agency, and light .
Perhaps because I have been a traveler this past week, not in the ease of home, or usual comforts of life, the emotional reveal within this Full Moon has been deeper, with an insistent demand for passion to again surge through the quotidian. Music and movement have been my daily rituals of illumination which are prodding for a re-weave, a transformative process to integrate daily steps with new zest. When and where were you most joyous? Alive? Focused? How can you bring that flavor back into your life? How might we once again fill with the delight of courage, a heart of tenderness, a new dance for the warrior within ?

It was as much Her as it was her Cello, the composer, the orchestra. When honored by someone’s genius, we swim in the ritual of a life’s creation, and often ask- ‘is this a gift of life after life dedication? Or the genius of transformative decisions to become one with? Few reach her height, but we all have unexplored power to produce and create at more embodied levels. Embodiment requires rituals of repetition, of daily returning to one’s holy grail. It begs for light and dark, inhale and exhale, full and empty, fierce and fragile.

Harvesting energies off this Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon asks we focus on being more grounded and centered to unleash hidden creative passions of higher purpose. Often Scorpio offers karmic infusions informing us of needed healing, and hidden thresholds waiting just below the surface. The beginning months of ’25 were weighted in water and earth making bodies slow, and emotional, all too often frome memories of old family wounding. The world is now cosmically alive, shifting to fast and hot, reactive and pushy. Harvest intentions of integrategrating shadow and light, past and present – in a moderate tempo. Pause to balance passionate response with listening. Begin new rituals informed by intuition, with magical structures. Whenever the Moon is in Scorpio, our capacity to deep dive and beckon mystery is enhanced. The veil between worlds is thin, and Pluto, modern ruler of Scorpio, asks for transformation by expanding consciousness and intuition. This is more easily done when the veil between worlds is thin. It is an opportune time to grow awareness, especially through the cultivation of EI-Emotional Intelligence. Our world is in sorry need of this more than anything. As if the power-punch of a Taurus/ Scorpio face-off were not forceful enough, Uranus, the great sky god of higher mind, change and chaos, embraces the Sun/ego, ID, and dad, while opposing the Scorpio Moon of deep emotion, home, and mom. Any planetary opposition offers recognition, the ‘ahaaaa now I see it’ understanding, especially with Uranus! We have opportunity to ‘see’ far beyond old boundaries, and underlying currents. These ‘fixed planets emphasize spring/Taurus, and fall/Scorpio as well as the duet between life and death, inner and outer life, openings and endings.

When surprise and chaos rise, ritual becomes ever more important, helping the brain to be present, the body to be at peace, intuition to be alive, and the heart to fill with courage. Rituals call the soul forth to relinquish sorrow and clear the way to an abundant harvest. Let us rise as a soulful-tribe to keep dreams alive, and meet the mayhem courageously.
