ELECTROMAGNETICALLY CHARGED

Enter the hidden realms of Scorpio’s frozen waters as the world heats up from large solar flares, precipitating electromagnetic shifts in mind, emotion, spirit, and body, including the body of the earth.  Thursday’s timing of the third Super Moon this year amplifies tides, tectonic plates, psyches, and emotional mayhem.  Descending into Scorpio’s underworld journey, we are pushed to explore power issues, wounding, and shadowy pain.  Pluto, the dark Lord, ruling Scorpio seeks transformation and doesn’t much care how he gets it.  His is always an emotional journey to discover the base gold underlying shadow and despair.  This Super Moon provides easy access to exploring our darker aspects, both personally and socially, to hopefully bring to light what needs integration and acceptance.

Be aware that bodies are tired, nervous systems frazzled, and stored trauma is at a threshold of revelation.  Any of this week’s ‘major players’ are strong enough to set us off to tired ‘dopey-dom’, but the myriad layers of push and heart-palpitating shove are enough to confuse, deplete, and/or create a major breakthrough.  Let us not forget that we just survived October’s four major planetary shifts, including a Mercury Retrograde that was birthed by Pluto’s blessings of depth, deception and dark deeds.  We survived.  Brava!  Now we are muscled enough to withstand the high solar winds of the next few days peaking Nov 4th and 5^th. They are charged with CME- coronal mass ejection particles that activate electromagnetic fields.  Expect high tides, possible earthquakes, and personal release of stored memory. Their frequencies are here to assist us to reach a higher vibration.  Despite stressing the DNA of brains, emotion, and bodies this can be a good thing as it helps us remember who we wish to be, and how we might achieve that.  (My thanks to the great Astrologer, Stephanie Austin for the Solar Flare/CME material.)

Along with the above possibilities for our re-wiring is a ‘holy cow ‘Uranian influence to further shock, amaze and awaken us as the Great Sky God-Uranus stands in opposition to the New Moon.  This, along with Old Man Saturn squaring the Sun/Moon-rebirth, offers life-changing invitations to many.  The deeper you can dig into old shadow material, the more comfortable you are with mystery, AND mayhem the greater the opportunity to lift consciousness. Because the major planetary players are all in fixed signs, it’s more important than ever to be flexible, to really listen to the other, and face obstacles with empathy and courage.  Because of the innovative and original voice within Uranus offering shock and awe, before acting or jumping ahead, step back and listen to your intuition, and your growing capacity to perceive what is real and important for you.

In the Northern Hemisphere, it is a time of long, ghostly nights (Samhain) as well as a time of inner light.  Remember to drink more water, rest, be in nature, be still to listen as the heavens shake with excessive energy.  A great celebration to pull some of that cosmic high-wired light down into our deep blue emotions is Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.  Diwali comes from the Sanskrit, Deepavali meaning ‘row of clay lamps.  In India, houses are lit by these, candles are alight everywhere as people celebrate the victory of light over dark.  They celebrate their spiritual richness and the triumph of good over evil. What a great holiday.  Let’s re-think Halloween!

In this time of the ancestors stepping forward, remember to thank them.  Honor the souls of your past who cared for you, offered important lessons, and gave you understanding-muscle through neglect, abuse, or shame.  What you decide to do with all that love, sorrow and regret are only up to you.  Take time now to sit with the shadowed past, then offer yourself new life from ALL the precious memories and experiences.  Turn dross into gold.  Become an electromagnetically charged vibration offering the world your unique gifts!

YOUR PRACTICE:  We are deep-diving into a dark watery New Moon in Scorpio this week.  It is an opportunity for profound re-sets, intuitive understanding, and working with commitment, passion, anger, and strategy.  On the mat, we shall do poses of surrender, and/or find surrender within poses that push us.  We follow the breath in, observe its power, and let everything we no longer use flow out in extended exhales.  Moving the body through Scorpio energies requires we let go of surface expectations and find the willingness to drop down into our emotional root systems to explore.  Forget the water wings!  Take time to create a small altar of objects that nurture you and offer peace.

BIRTHDAYS THIS WEEK: You are under the ‘new-birth/re-birth of not only the Scorpio New Moon, with its opposition to the god of chaos, Uranus, but you are also brought down to earthy-responsibilities by Saturn’s demanding square to the New Moon.  Needless to say, it’s going to be quite a year for you!!  Take more time and really important time now to consider this demanding as well as an exciting new journey around the Sun.  It’s important you become clear about your needs, and the demands of others…boundaries are vital as you break up old shadow material and heal.  This is a year to focus more on your emotional needs in order to open yourself to a bigger life.
