We are presently preparing for big mind and heart implosions under the Leo Full Moon, Wed. 12.  It shall open heart and mind with a huge ‘transmission’ from Uranus, as the great sky god T bones Sun in quirky Aquarius and Moon in heart held Leo.  This extreme of strongly held squared off forces may offer game changing information for some, and/or deeply emotional wallops to another.  If you’re quite fortunate, you get both.  As we are already being ‘sparked’ by its energies, pay attention to what and who are challenging you and how you might wish to respond.  It’s oh so wise to plan now as this is a Full Moon of sudden shock and awe, erratic surprise and chaos.  When the passionate fires hit, you will not have time to plan a responsible response.

URANIAN WISDOM
As Uranus is a major outer planet that opens minds, disrupts the status quo, AND offers cutting edge culture along with personal sparks of genius, I’m assuming you’re curious to learn more.  He has been titled ‘A mythical Prometheus’ -a bringer of fire, a harbinger of greater information.  It takes him 83-84 years to travel through all 12 signs of the zodiac, and each time he moves into a new sign, we have ‘signature energies’ that inform of new possibilities and themes- an overview of ‘shifting tectonic plates.’  
Uranus moved into Taurus May 2018 and remains in Taurus until April 2026 due to retrograding back.  Unofficially, he enters Gemini this July.   Because of Venus ruling Taurus, you will note that many Uranian themes while in Taurus deal with: Re-drawing global divisions, possible re-ignition of cold wars, new visions of currency, the rise of the oh so very rich, and concerns of shrinking resources, struggles to preserve a global sense of connection, climate changes asking who is in power, along with the re-alignment of power.  In Taurus, Uranus moves more slowly and is deeply concerned about the value of land and a changing eco-system.
 
FULL MOON ENERGIES
Uranus in Taurus is a vibrant interloper in the upcoming fiery Full Moon which will poke and prod all manner of emotional shake up responses, along with an ability to see old issues with new vision.  Yes, it’s unstable, but this very instability may be an invitation to view old problems and rock them open in release.  With the Moon in Leo’s heart of courage, (The French Coeur for heart is the Coeur of courage.) we are being asked to trust ourselves, to listen to our intuitive heart before making a big decision.  With the Sun in Aquarius, ruled by Uranus, facing off to her highness the Moon, we all need to stretch outside old boxes, opening the old mind to receive exotic brain waves.
 
We have assistance from Mercury, messenger of the gods, ruler of daily conversation, ideas and thought process, as he embraces the Sun, offering a sandwich of lower mind/higher mind inspirational mouthfuls.  Full Moons often reveal new truths and open us to understanding what we may have been struggling with. It’s important to not shoot the messenger as you lean into surprising guidance.  Pay attention to synchronicities. Stop long enough to bring your intuitive body into greater consciousness.
 
Healing can be a gift of this lunation, especially for those of you with natal Moon in Leo.  Chiron is in Aires, along with Venus, asking if we are being true to our warrior nature, and if we know just what the nature is.  Chiron, like Venus wants us to find our beauty, our value and purpose.  Where we hold old wounds is often where and how we grow wiser, stronger and more tender.  With the Moon in fiery Leo to stand and be the queen or king, and Chiron with Venus in fiery Aires, you can feel the Promethean energy of stealing fire from the gods.  The question now is, will you offer it to your fellow humans?  And in what way?  In service to whom?  What are you creating to encourage yourself and your fellow beings?
 
FORWARD LOOKING
On July 7th, 2025 Uranus enters Gemini, goes Retrograde in September, returning briefly to Taurus, then remains in Gemini until May 2033.  What themes may we expect to deal with? Overcome? learn?  Yes, July seems far away but….this Full Moon may help open our eyes to some of the our incoming themes.  Uranus enters Gemini with Venus by his side which may make him a catalyst for feminine issues.  Certainly technology, and new modes of communication will leap into ever greater prominence, particularly AI. 
 
Looking back to Uranus moving through Gemini, he was there 1774-1782 coinciding with the American Revolutionary war.  Then returned June 1858- March 1866 when we had the contested expansion of slavery into the west, the Civil War, the gold rush, the transatlantic telegraph, first transcontinental rail, with mail service, the Italian wars leading to unification.  Uranus returned to Gemini 1941-1949 when we had WWII, the beginning of the Atomic Age, computer development, along with the modem, The Greek Civil War, India and Pakistan Independence, NATO VS the Soviet Bloc, the declaration of Human Rights.  I close this look-back paragraph by offering a few themes of what is to come:  The creation of unexpected allies and foes; Innovation in communication; Revolution and upheaval; Transformational ‘intellect modalities,’ especially involving electric technology; Increased activism and freedom of expression, with greater diversity.  This comes at a faster, more unpredictable pace.  Fasten your seat belts!  (My thanks to Astrologer Sam Reynolds for Uranian information through the ages.)
 
With and through Uranus, we are open to ‘Transmissions’ of heart and mind.  He is not just about revolution in the streets, but revolution of old, smaller mind-sets. Under Full Moons, we are open to emotional healing and the ability to partner with greater intention and wisdom.  With this lunation, we can add the fiery ensemble of Moon in Leo, and Venus, plus Chiron-the wounded healer in Aires, filling us with courage to rise and grow into our best warrior selves.  ONWARD!
