NORMAL SCHEDULING
8:30-10:00 AM Intermediate-vigorous Vinyasa Flow.
Movement flows in sync with the Astrological Lunar/Solar energies; Yin to Yang, working with subtle body layers of Pranayama, mudra, chant-and the always wonderful SHAKTI YOGA DANCES. The Practice is aligned to earth energies which facilitates the strategy of dealing with each week’s demands.
Class energies shift through the month, from the Yin, inner life of each New Moon, to the powerful Yang expression of Full Moons. This rhythm offers a variety of opportunities to express and nurture personal alignment as well as dancing in harmony with Ma Nature. This Practice celebrates the rituals of life on many levels which creates a warm and welcoming Yoga-Tribe. Please feel free to come and try first class without charge.
10:00 AM Slower Flow Class- for sleepy heads, the injured, and beginners- all welcome.
This class pays more attention to alignment and detailing the sequence of poses. It too follows the lunar cycle, flowing with the Astrological Lunar/Solar energies; Yin to Yang, working with subtle body layers of Pranayama, mudra, chant-and the always wonderful connective linking in SHAKTI YOGA DANCES. New bodies are prepared for greater fluidity, older bodies are strengthened, and injured bodies attain mobility.
Sat. classes- 10 Class Cards – $160.00 Single class – $17.00.
Both classes held at Wellesley Congregational ‘Village’ Church- 2 Central St. Wellesley, Enter through rear door in parking lot

SHAKTI YOGA DANCE TRAINING shaktidances.com
TAKE IT FOR YOUR OWN PLEASURE, OR BECOME CERTIFIED SHAKTI YOGA DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Pertinent facts: Learn 4-5 dances, (from level I to III,) well enough to teach them, or to simply enjoy and embody them. Their Shakti energy makes shifts & beautiful changes within the body. They contain an energetic alchemy all their own. Since Shakti is the feminine creative force, why should we be surprised? You will find that taking the Shakti training teaches the really fine art of linking, of re-defining your balance points, and of layering subtleties into a Practice. You will also enjoy creating a powerful tribe, for there is nothing more wonderful than rituals of dance and song.
There is a complete instruction manual, with music, with each training. Cost for training, and manual, is $300.00.
To become a Shakti Instructor, you must have a 200 hour RYT Yoga certification, and finish 20 hours of Shakti training. You can up-date and add new dances with each new round of training.
