Gemini goats problem-solving to share food and fun! 

Wisdom Body Notes May 19-30 by Samantha Cameron year’s 

We rise from Taurus’ deep dive, morphing from body to brain as the Sun enters Gemini on the 20th. This year, the usual placid Taurus energies were highly elevated, disturbed, and loud so now we turn to question what is it all about, and how have we changed?  Gemini, sign of the twins, one light, one dark, previously symbolized by Castor and Pollux, offers opportunities to understand and use the large shifts and chaos we have experienced.  The Twins love to solve puzzles with odd yet gratifying answers.  It loves to work with others problem-solving to share answers.  We also have the assistance of the incoming Full Moon in Sagittarius on the 23rd to open the minds ever wider to an expansive expression of the transformative process we are undergoing.

Gemini, as many of you know, is ruled by Mercury, previously known as Hermes.  He is a planet of conversations, ideas, mindset, and questioning, offering a time of learning, and lighthearted sharing, as well as turning toward new relationships, and directions, both mental and physical.  Mercury/Hermes was able to travel to the underworld, allowing information and dialogue exchanges with shadow so it might come to light for greater understanding and healing. Dialogues with self, with the unconscious can be particularly soulful with the dark and light Gemini twins involved.  Upcoming, we have an abundance of Gemini! First, the Sun moves in, followed by Venus on May 24, under the Full Moon, followed by Jupiter May 26, then Mercury June 4th.  By the end of June, we shall be brilliant conversationalists, writers, and creative icons learning new steps that have a light, joyful essence in bringing ideas to fruition.  After this year’s Taurus depth charge, Gemini energies have lots to process and illuminate! 

The growing Moon bursts into full light on the 23rd offering beneficence as both Venus and Jupiter play big parts in her energy.  Any lunation in Sagittarius offers fertile ideas and practices lifting our vibration.  With Mercury, the lower mind ruling Gemini, and Jupiter ruling the Sagittarian higher mind we are full of inspiration, creativity, and spiritual resonance.  We are literally ‘reaching for the stars’ to understand and transform what doesn’t work.  This week, you may feel more guided not only by intuition but experience of the divine.  We lift up and out, hopefully taking the Taurus seeds of down-and-dirty wisdom into useful plantings of influential ideas.  Even the dark god, Pluto, with his power and passion, influences the Gemini lightness with his depth charge.  Take time this week to tune out, and move beyond the physical into a journey of light.

Remember that all Full Moons are signatures of culmination, of seeing problems in greater light, and formulating better partnerships, especially the one with Self. Grow a practice of listening and trusting yourself, especially under this Sagittarius lunation, sign of the archer whose arrow flies high and beyond, we have Venus embracing Jupiter, ruler of the Moon, as well as working a sextile/an opportunity with Neptune.  This ‘Neptune opportunity’ offers spiritual and creative gifts as well as trust, and confusion.  It deepens Venus with an otherworldly connection to Pluto.  This week, look at your relationships with money, belief, power, and romance.  Where can you dance on to better music, more joy, and a stronger choreography? Where can you express more joy, create more magic?  

Between Gemini’s wiring of early learning; first words, logic, and playground schooling, and Sagittarius’ illumination of these beginning expressions that grow elevated and expanded- we have a mind on fire with possibilities.  You may feel a new path of destiny opening up.  You will certainly be curious and find its easier to shift your old beliefs into more hopeful, open attitudes and constructs. Under the Full Moon, the Sun trines Pluto offering a transformative depth charge to whatever vision or ideas you create.  Pluto is always emotional, bringing heart, gut and mind into deeper alignment, enhancing a perspective of broader horizons with feelings of abundance and  gratitude. Between the depth charge and the ‘charge of the Sag-light brigade’ your courage is challenged and elevated, so try something new!  Old beliefs are being burned, opening the mind to evolve, upgrade and leap!  With Jupiter’s higher belief,  Neptune’s intuitive dreams, and Pluto’s deep-diving emotion there is little holding us back from making dreams come true.
