THEMES

Polarities of: self determination & partnering, risk & strategy, progressive & conservative, inner & outer, endings & beginnings.

A field of transformational relationships reveals how selfish are we” How selfish do we need to be? How do we translate that to partnering skills?

  • Mission statements are up for revision. Have you realigned goals? Are you living up to your dreams and visions?

THE STORY

This week’s storyboard is about the Full Moon in Aires-Libra, representing polarities of self and other, risk and strategy, aggression VS assertiveness. Both lights, plus Mercury T bone into Saturn, negotiating old territories of who is in charge, what is acceptable, and why. Saturn here can push too hard to over-work. There are issues of self discipline along with timing, or pacing, and frustration in not accomplishing what we wish. The balance of masculine and feminine is front and center. Pay attention to energies beneath the words. Grow strategic about what is ‘bla bla’ and what has meaning.

It’s fascinating that the planet ruling partnership, Venus, is slowing down to shimmer strongly in the sky, preparing her next week’s Retrograde. As the ruler of the Libran Sun, Venus works hard to heal hearts, to hear and assuage grief, and gather recourses to bulwark self worth. She is our EI/Emotional Intelligence go-to-gal! When she goes Retrograde, we head heart-down to ferret out psychic grief, often questioning why we feel unlovable, unworthy, or uncreative. What old childhood transcript wrote those ideas?

The Full Moon light beams into dark closets of mistaken identity, where the imbalance of masculine or feminine, and old, bad-business create inner swamps. The shadow sides of both Mars and Venus are brought to greater consciousness so that we re-align and re-draft heart scripture. Chiron, the wounded healer conjuncts the Mars ruled Moon. Since Mars began moving out of his summer boot camp-review, we are witness to social lessons of masculine power run amuck. Mars is also sideling up to the South Node, a doorway to old beliefs, and unconscious drives. We observe many social issues of masculine misuse of power. It is not an accident that the good old boys are preparing to vote on a Supreme Court justice, who himself has been a good old boy, AND has been accused of sexual misconduct. The past returns to haunt, and reveal energetic truths.

Because Saturn makes hard right turns to both lights, we are pushed to redress structures that don’t balance feminine and masculine. We are encouraged to be independent AND understand our interdependency. We are being asked; ‘Where do you give up your power?’ Where are you living an old stereotype? Where are you over-controlling? Not only in obvious ways, but through the shadow of passive aggressive non-action? Women have learned to make this an art form as using physical force is often not an option.

So many things to think about in order to live a balanced life. So much work to do in so little time. So much heart-space to open and heal to grow whole. ….uno, dos, tres-Begin!

YOUR BIRTHDAY WEEK: Clearly this will be a year offering fascinating relationship issues. The primary work will be your relationship with Self! You have survived several fires that burned away dross in order for you to see yourself more clearly. You now get to put those hard earned lessons to work, balancing your needs with others,’ to see your truths more objectively, especially in relationship to others. Your past doubts now offer you well earned gifts. Accept, and nurture yourself from a deep well of self acceptance, dare I say – love?

YOUR PRACTICE: The mat is once again calling for balance, to use yang energetic forces in synthesis with yin, to listen as well as lead. Use old structures to create new kryias, where you combine difficult asanas with the well known and loved. Full Moons are yang territory where we need to burn off excess energy, but the T bone into Saturn says we may push too hard, and be driven to exhaustion. Use the first rule of Yoga- ‘do no harm.’ That means to YOU, as well as others.
